Perpetual Care Means Security

Roselawn's board of directors make sure that the beauty of its facilities and grounds will be preserved, well into the future. Roselawn's Perpetual Care fund, which is managed by Hancock Whitney Bank, deposits ten percent of every sale of gravesites, mausoleum crypts or columbarium niches, as directed by Louisiana State Law.

This longstanding trust has allowed Roselawn to maintain its facilities and grounds by employing a consciensous staff of maintenance personnel. Likewise, a full‐time management team oversees everyday decisions on operations, staffing, routine maintenance and improvements.

The security of its visitors and facilities is of primary importance at Roselawn. Maintenance staff members routinely watch and patrol the cemetery during weekdays, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. until 5 p.m., when the gates are locked for the evening. During the weekend, a security guard patrols the cemetery during the same hours.

During the week, a maintenance staff member remains to await any visitor's departure until 5 p.m., when the front gates are locked for the evening.
